Welcome visitors to your home with a stunning likeness of your furry family member.  Our metal signs are perfect for any number of locations - from the front gate, to your entryway or even as a decorative wall art in your living room - our laser-cut sign is sure to catch the attention of any friends and family. Each sign comes with an approx 4mm mounting hole at each end of the dog bone.

Our decorative metal signs are also ideal as meaningful gifts - whether it's a housewarming, birthday, Christmas (or any occasion!) We are able to personalise the text to suit.

All of our signs are:

    • Locally made
    • Cut from 1.6mm weathering steel or mild steel
    • Weathering steel requires no additional preservation
    • Beautiful rusted finish of your outdoor sign for years to come

MATERIALS:
1.6mm weathering steel: will weather into a beautiful rustic patina. No maintenance required for outdoors.
1.6mm mild steel: raw steel, will naturally rust, or can be painted.

All of our signs are made to order. We run most of our cuts on a Friday, so please bear this in mind when placing your order. As we cut our items to order they may not be weathered yet when they reach you. We will include a few tips on how to weather your product & get the beautiful rustic patina as quickly as possible.

Don't see the breed you're looking for? While we have tried to cater for as many as possible, there is the chance we have missed a few - unfortunately we are unable to take requests for additional breeds in this style.

Weathering Tips

It's our aim to get your sign or ornament to you as quickly as possible, so unfortunately it isn't possible for us to pre-weather them.

This means your item will be in its raw form - the traditional grey steel colour. It doesn't take long to develop the beautiful rusty patina on your item, most will look pretty good within just a couple of weeks.

However, to be fully sealed and for your product to stop leaking any rust, does require 3-6 months. We have experimented with a few different options, and these are our top tips to speed up the weathering process.

Within Australia we offer flat rate delivery of $13.5 per order, or $18.5 for express postage.
You are also able to pickup from us at Mt Barker SA – this is free!

Postage on Custom Signs

Postage costs on custom signs & items will be quoted along with your sign and generally starts from $15. Australia Post allow us to send items up to 105cm. If your item is larger than this we will use a courier & charges will apply at cost.

When will I receive my order?

Our processing times do vary, however aim to create & post all orders within 3-5 business days, however sometimes there are factors outside of our control that may effect this. Painted items require a minimum 1-2 week processing time to allow for multiple coats & drying time. Powdercoated items are outsourced to a small local business, and as this is a multistep process that requires curing time between each step please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

It looks so much like one of our dogs we love it

We were having issues of people entering our house yard when we have some big dogs in there. We got this sign so they had a warning so they did not get a big surprise when our pups came around the corner.

What are the products made from?

While weathering steel is usually referred to by its trademark name COR-TEN (or Corten), we use an Australian made equivalent from Bluescope called REDCOR. It is known for its superior corrosion resistance and thickness. This is because the surface of the steel forms a protective oxide layer when  exposed to the weather. In other words, the steel is allowed to rust in order to protect itself. This protective surface layer continues to regenerate over years of exposure.

And it looks AMAZING!
